Lessons Through the Keyboard

This isn't an article on how to learn to play the keyboard. Rather, its about the lessons God has taught me through my keyboard. Quite a long one, but worth the read.

Ever since 2008, I eagerly waited to buy a good keyboard for myself. A childhood friend of mine had a PSR-2000 (Rs. 65,000). My heart was set on getting that model. I had pictures of it, and kept looking at them regularly. I planned to buy myself one after I joined work. I was pursuing my Bachelor's in Engineering at that time. So after a two year long wait, I hoped to join work and buy it. But God guided me towards my Post Graduation in Management, and I realized that I had to wait for another two years to buy it.

Thats when my sister surprised me by offering to buy one for me. From then on, I started searching for a good keyboard to buy. PSR-2000 was an old model now, no longer in production. I could get a second hand one or buy some other recent model. I kept my options open.

First starting with the second hand keyboards, I went through many online shopping sites, looked at various keyboards, contacted people, tried to fix the prices and so on. This went on for about a month and a half. Then I happened to visit my guitar master one day, and he advised me to not get a second hand one. Its more prone to get repaired, he said.

So I started a fresh search looking at the latest keyboards and their features. There were many to choose from and decision making became very tough. During this time I had this renewed desire to learn to play the keyboard better, and so I wanted one that would help me learn more and improve my playing greatly. I downloaded the pictures and features list of about 6 to 7 keyboards and went through them everyday. I would spend hours reading the features again and again even though I knew them by heart. I would look at all those keyboards longingly. Day after day, I went through all those models, sometime many times a day, and I still wasn't able to decide.

At first I chose a simple model. It had touch sensitivity ( a feature) that was one of my top priorities. I assumed it would suffice my purpose and almost decided on it. Then I realized that I would need a better model if I had to use it for my church choir. We never had a proper keyboard in my church at that time and Christmas was fast approaching, and I needed one before that.

So the search started again, this time with new models in my choice list. My budget also had to be looked at, and I finally narrowed down my choice to two models - the PSR-s550b (Rs. 36,000) and the PSR-s710 (Rs. 48,000).

I was accustomed to the s710 model as we had a similar one (s700) in my college, I had played on that before and I knew it was an awesome keyboard. And somehow whenever I looked at this model PSR s550b, I had this feeling I cannot explain. I didn't want that keyboard. I always wanted a silver color keyboard ( probably because PSR-2000 was of that color), and this one was black, jet black! I knew I was being silly, a keyboard should be valued based on its features and not its color. I knew it, but somehow I just didn't want the s550b model.

I knew the s550b had more features than I actually wanted, and it was a good one. But I didn't want that. A month passed, and I still couldn't make up my mind. My parents felt that the s710 model was quite expensive but since it was a one-time investment they didn't object when that was on my choice list.

One day, a friend of mine felt I would end up buying the s550b. And I got this all too familiar feeling again (the one I cannot explain). I felt peaceful. Later when I saw the s710 again, I was confused again. And I  delayed my decision one more time. Days went by, and I felt drained of my energy whenever I tried to make a decision. There was the s550b which had the features I wanted and the s710 which I wanted to buy. I could not go ahead with either one. I couldn't believe my state. I had waited for more than two years to buy a keyboard, and now when I had the money to buy it, I just couldn't make up my mind.

I wondered which one God wanted me to buy. I didn't know. I told my friend Sagai that. She said I should fast and pray to know God's will. This may sound ridiculous, that I sought God's will to buy a keyboard. But I have always sought His will for even minor, insignificant things in my life and I felt that my keyboard which I loved already should also be in accordance with His will. I had this undeniable faith that His plans are "the best".

So that day I fasted and prayed asking God to reveal which one I should buy. I prayed for a long time but I still got no answer. Thats when I remembered some preacher saying long back that God has given us good brains to think and we ought to use them when we seek His will. I asked God to guide me to the answer and  I took a sheet of paper and a pen. I wrote down what my needs were, what were the features I wanted. I also wrote down the features of both keyboards and matched my needs with their features. Both had the features I wanted and much more. So I started writing the positives and drawbacks of each. Among them, weight was an important factor. The s710 weighed 10.5 kgs whereas the s550b weighed only 7.5 kgs. I've carried the s700 before in college and I remember how breathless I was after having walked carrying it for hardly two minutes.

I realized that I would have to carry my keyboard quite often to and from church. Would I be able to carry the s710 to church almost every week? (The church is about a kilometre away from my home). I wasn't sure. I felt I would dislocate my shoulder if I carried it even once to church. I would have to use an antorickshaw to carry it, and I wouldn't be able to afford that every time.

I looked at the features again. The s550b had more features than I wanted. It was more than enough for my needs. The s710 had more features than the s550b, features I never know to exploit, features I would never use. I was a beginner after all. If I bought the s710, I would actually be buying a heavier keyboard that would leave me breathless when I carry it, a keyboard I would be paying more for for features I would never use, a waste of money and energy.

I realized that the s550b was the one I had to buy. I once again had this familiar feeling and now, with it a lot of peace. That kind of peace cannot be explained. It leaves no doubts about the decisions you've made, it assures you that everything's gonna be alright, it makes you feel that the best will happen now.

I had made my decision. I was going to buy the s550b.

We paid for it, and I carried it home on my lap, tightly holding the keyboard I had waited for for years. I was happy. I was peaceful. I wanted to give him a name. This verse from Joshua 24:15 where he says, “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” was one of my favourites. I named my keyboard after him.

The story doesn't end there. The liar doesn't give up, does he?

As the story goes, I played on the s550b at home and the s700 ( similar to s710) in college. The music from  any keyboard will sound very good when its heard on amplified speakers. I've heard the s700 on speakers, but not mine. In my church, the speakers face the other side and I never get to hear my keyboard on the speakers.

So I had this feeling that my keyboard was not as good as the s710. Also, by this time I got better at carrying the s700 in college ( we use it for the prayer meetings every week). Now, I could carry it without losing my breath for that short distance to the prayer room. I wondered if I had made the wrong decision. With practice I could have carried it. But this decision was from God. How could it be wrong? I remembered the decision making process and I would tell myself that this was the right decision. But confusions came now and then and this thought about the s710 kept eating at me for about 4 months. Nevertheless, I still liked my keyboard. I learnt lots as I played on it everyday and my music improved greatly.

So it was after 4 months that I actually took my keyboard for using it at a night vigil for the first time. I was close to the speakers this time. As the music kept coming, I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Was this my keyboard? It sounded so beautiful! It was awesome!

I realized that God had given me the best, only I hadn't known it before.

After the night vigil I had to carry it home. I had to walk for a little more than a kilometre carrying it. I felt it was no great deal as I had carried mine to church often. But I failed to notice that I was exhausted after the night vigil, and had no strength to carry it. I became breathless soon. I developed some pain in my chest as I was trying to catch my breath. I was shocked, it was my keyboard and I was breathless! I struggled to carry it home. And I kept wondering what would have happened if I was carrying the s710 now!

It took me four months to realize that God had given me the best keyboard. God has used my keyboard and me on many occasions. And I'm able to go to those places (the night vigil too) because its my keyboard that I'm carrying on my shoulders. I carry it as I walk, as I travel on the bike, I carry it myself whenever I have to play.

The decision to buy the s550b is one of the best decisions I ever made in my life!

I know that the s710 is still better than my keyboard, but the s550b is the best for me! Whats best by worldly standards isn't always the best for us. By giving me the s550b, God gave me the not what I wanted but what I needed. He gave me the best, He gave me only that which I'm capable of carrying.

This is an important lesson in life. Many times we go after things we don't really need, they weigh heavily on our shoulders, drain us of our energy and rob us of our happiness. And the alternative from God could be plain, simple, not attractive perhaps and we doubt if it'll be the best one. But what comes from God is what we're capable of carrying. For God says in Matthew 11:30, "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Believe me, they're the best we can have, ever!

A funny day!

You may be wondering what this funny day was all about. Yeah, I lost my voice(temporarily) this morning. And I had to go through the entire day without it.

I had my exams last week. I'm used to reading things aloud. I read aloud for one full week and that was enough to damage my voice. I wrote my last exam on last Saturday. Sunday morning I developed irritation in my throat and it soon developed into a cold. (and I remembered that on Saturday I was very happy listening to my recorded voice and realizing how sweet my voice was!)

Tuesday morning I had severe throat pain, by evening it was quite okay so I sang some songs and practiced with my friends for a prayer meeting only to realize that my throat pain had become worse than it was in the morning. I woke up this morning and realized my throat wasn't paining. God must have been impressed with me, I thought, thats why he took the pain away. Overjoyed, I called out to my mom and only my lips moved, no sound was heard. Under normal circumstances I would have wondered why God allowed this to happen. But today, the funny part of it struck me and I couldn't help laughing at my predicament. Smiling to myself, I went to college.

I was excited (instead of getting worried) thinking about how I'll manage the day.

I met my classmate (Dhaneesh) in the train. He and I love to argue with each other, and we always seem to have contrasting opinions. So our morning walks to college would usually be an entertaining argument. Of late Dhaneesh wasn't using the train much, but today (when I've lost my voice) Dhaneesh was there! I was trying to tell him in sign language "My voice.......is gone!". Dhaneesh asked me many questions, looked at me for a response and then answered them himself, and literally only he spoke throughout our 15 minute walk to the college with me smiling at every response of his.

We reached college and met some more friends. I was trying to tell them all "My voice is gone!". They thought it was very funny(so did I). Some of them were very curious and urged me to say something, "Hey Janet, speak something. Lets see what your voice sounds like. Will it be like a frog croaking?"

I had lost my ID card last week, and after sending a couple of mails to my class mailing group, I got it back only yesterday. So today, many people asked me about how I got the card back and I had only one response "My voice is gone!"

With our seniors' convocation coming up this Saturday, we needed to practice the songs for it. With my voice in such a condition, I was wondering how I can manage the practice. However Ruby told me they needed only my hands, they could do without my voice!

In both the classes I had today, I had to ask my friends to answer attendance for me even though I was there in the class.

So there I was, talking to everyone with my hands, writing on tables, walls, using everything I could to compensate for my voice. Some of my friends went a step further and showed me their hands and pens to write what I had to say. Some advised me to carry a notepad with me all through the day.

And then I went to the canteen to have breakfast. I gave the man the token and said 'bread omlette' which he obviously couldn't hear. I had to walk to the menu board and point out 'bread omlette' to him. He started making fun of me, and asked if I had taken a vow to not talk. And then he taught me how I should act out 'bread omlette' in case I lost my voice next time. It seems there was another guy like me who had wanted onion dosa in the morning and drew an onion on the wall to tell him. I was much better!

And some of my friends were very clever too! In spite of me telling them I couldn't speak they simply called my number and waited for me to attend their calls. I had to cut every single call I received today.

Finally we assembled in the evening to practice for convocation. I was speaking in hushed whispers tired of writing on walls. My friends didn't realize what had happened to my voice and for about five minutes kept imitating me, whispering their questions to me. I couldn't suggest songs by speech, I had to play every one of them. It was like some sort of a guessing game where I played the tune and they guessed what song it was.

My dad was one of those clever persons who called up to ask me where I was. Thankfully Irene was there and answered the call for me. The day wouldn't have been so much fun without her. She got me my lunch and coffee after hearing my experience with 'bread omlette'.

I walked back to the railway station and met my choir mate (Sagai) with whom I had practiced the previous day. I had dismissed all her instructions (on how to take care of my voice) the previous day. To our great joy, there I was without my voice, and she gave me the I-told-you-so look!

We laughed all through the train journey.

I usually call my dad after I reach my station so he can come and pick me up. Meeting Sagai was God's providence. She called up my dad and told him I had reached the station.

We waited at the doctor's clinic. During my UG days I developed cold quite often (I traveled a long distance to my college and the pollution gave me a cold so I could become a regular contributor to this doctor's monthly income) and so I was a familiar face to him. He asked me the symptoms and my dad spoke for me.

'Did she have something cold?'

'No'.

'Does she have fever?'

'No'.

'Did she travel much?'

'No'.

In all my visits to this doctor, I've never seen him so clueless. He wiped his forehead, rested his elbows on the table with his head in his hands staring at the prescription paper that was blank. Of course, it was because I had read aloud for my exams, but it was a very long explanation, so I didn't tell him(whisper to him). It took all my effort to not laugh seeing the doctor. Then he scribbled something on the paper (hopefully the medicines work!).

I finally came home and my mom asked me how I'd managed without my voice, and I gave her a 'thumbs up' sign...

Yeah...It was a great day, in fact a very successful one! Like I was telling one of my friends, today I somehow met about thrice as much people as I meet on any normal day. And yet I was able to communicate with all of them without my voice. Better still, I cheered up some and entertained a great many! Everybody left me with a smile today.

At the end of it all, I have no regrets at having lost my voice today!

It was a funny day after all :)

P.S.: And the moral of that story is.... Life is not to be taken seriously all the time. It feels good to be happy and to make others happy!

Lord, am thankful!

I'd like to share with you an incident that happened today...I was on the way to home, walking on the road when it happened.

Personally, I complain to God lots! "God, this is all I can take, nothing more", I would say...

Whenever someone tells me to be thankful, I would just think "That's so easy to say. You don't know my circumstances." Perhaps God had heard enough of my complaints and thats why he let this incident happen today...

So.... I was walking along the along when a vehicle beside me moved away suddenly and I saw the woman on the other side of the vehicle. I was shocked! She had small pox, her body was full of boils, big terrible boils... I kept thinking about her. I wondered what her life must be like. How would it feel to wake up every morning and see a face full of boils in the mirror? To see people get shocked looking at you, move away from you, and not dare to touch you... Did someone ever hug that woman or give her a gentle pat on her shoulder when she was down? Did she feel loved?

I remembered the kids I see in the railway station everyday. The mom would be selling whatever she had in her basket and the kid would be sleeping and flies would swarm the baby, or worse, the baby would be right on the stairs, about to tumble down. I remembered the kids of the tribal people whose hair had never seen oil.

I thought about myself. The beautiful family God has given me - my beloved members at home who have never given up on me even when I have let them down, all the love they have showered on me, the numerous instances that show they care, all the times they encouraged me, stood by me...

I remembered the numerous opportunities God has sent my way, opportunities these people never got.

I've always lived a secure life. I've never wandered on the streets unattended and uncared for. I've always had a roof over my head and never had to worry about where my next meal would come from.

Earlier, when people told me to be thankful and I protested, they would tell me to compare myself to these little ones and see how blessed I am. I would just say "Okay, I understand that they have many problems that I don't have. But it doesn't mean I have no problems at all, or that my problems aren't as grave as their's are..."

Even now I don't mean to say that my problems are nothing at all compared to their's, but I do realize that I've been blessed with so many things they don't have - things that they need, things that I did nothing to deserve to have. I knew deep inside that I wouldn't last a moment in the shoes of that woman with boils.

I've focused so much on what I din't have that I failed to notice and appreciate all that I do have.

I thanked God that moment, for all that I've been blessed with.

(I have great respect for that woman. Her will to survive amidst all her troubles struck me so powerfully. God bless her!)

Amidst our mad schedules and busy lives, we too could try to take a moment today to thank God for everything, just everything!

A simple act of Faith

The passage below is an account of how God blessed our simple act of faith...

My aunt and uncle are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary tomorrow. My sister and I spent much of our childhood with them.

My sister stays at Mumbai. She badly wanted to be here with us to celebrate the anniversary. Since the function was decided all of a sudden, we couldn't book the ticket well in advance. The train ticket was in the Waiting List. The last one week was irritating, because the waiting list was moving so slowly. We checked the ticket status everyday. And we prayed everyday.

On Wednesday, after having unsuccessfully tried to book a ticket through Tatkal, my sister just told me she was just going to pray and pack her clothes in faith.

The train was supposed to leave yesterday. My sister had to leave for the railway station directly from her office. She took her packed clothes to her office! When asked about it, she replied her colleagues that she was trying to leave for home.

When I called her up yesterday morning, the ticket was still in the Waiting list. We hoped for the best and hung up.

I usually call up a Prayer Support when I'm in serious trouble. Why not now, I thought. The idea seemed silly - calling up a Prayer Support because you wanted your sister to come home. There are millions of people travelling at this moment, and to ask to pray for one person who wants to travel is extremely childish and................... silly!

Nevertheless, I called up. The person at the other end, though surprised by my request, prayed for me.

An hour passed, and my sister called up saying the ticket had been confirmed. Yeah, and her entire office was glad for her!

My sister packed her clothes in faith, and I asked for prayer no matter how silly my request was.

God blessed our simple act of faith. As I'm typing this, my sister is travelling, she's just a couple of hours away from our home.

I realize, that sometimes, we need to express our faith in very simple steps.

When you read this, please do keep my uncle and aunt in your prayers. This is the same uncle who had a heart attack, two years back. God, in His mercy, has added these precious years to my uncle's life, and has helped him to live to see this day come true!

Thanks and God bless!

I am in His thoughts...

I am a student pursuing my PGDM at a reputed B-school. As a part of the curriculum, we have to do an internship at a corporate this summer.

The college had its own placement process, but students could also try outside using their own contacts. By nature, a very shy person, the Group Discussion round marked my exit when any company came to our campus. Even 3 months after the process, I didn't get placed in any company. I had no contacts, so I couldn't try elsewhere.

One day in January, a good company offered me a placement without any group discussion or interview, just because they wanted freshers based in Chennai. I was grateful for this internship. It wasn't the profile I wanted, but I knew God had His ways...

Two weeks back, I just happened to meet an alumni of my college. (He accompanied his boss who delivered a speech) . He worked for a reputed firm. I wanted to meet him after the talk (to get details regarding an internship at his firm), but the speaker and the alumni left the hall soon after the speech. Angry at myself for not approaching him earlier, I left the hall, only to go out and find the alumni waiting at the car park because the driver was late. I rushed to him and inquired about the internship. He gave me his visiting card and left the place.

I mailed him and there was no reply. Two weeks passed, and I gave up hope of working for this firm.

During these two weeks, I enjoyed my walk with God. There were times when he filled me with His love. There were also times when I felt no trace of His presence. But there was a divine peace in my heart, throughout. I felt like praising God during this time. But I also remembered that there will be times when I will not want to pray. I kept asking God to remind me during those times that 'He always works for the good of those who love Him', that 'God is good, all the time', and that even if I couldn't feel His presence, God was with me, watching my every move, and loving me all the time. I prayed that God helps me trust Him when things are not working the way I want them to. I prayed that God gives me the grace to stand on His side when times are tough.

Today, being Valentine's Day, I saw many of my friends receiving surprises from their loved ones. With childlike faith, I asked God to surprise me today. Lord, please surprise me today with something, I asked him. But towards the later part of the day, I lost contact with God. I didn't feel so close to Him. There was a pang of guilt too. I didn't know what to do. I didn't feel like praying or praising Him. Those times had arrived.

It was then that the reflections of the past two weeks came to my mind. I knew God loved me and was working for my good. I kept reflecting on these thoughts.

When I checked my inbox this evening, there was this mail from my alumni's secretary asking me to attend an interview at their office on Wednesday. I was surprised and......happy! That alumni hadn't even replied to the mail I sent him. But unknown to me, he had actually made arrangements for the interview.

I haven't attended the interview yet, and I know not its results. This isn't a reflection saying I hope to get through the interview or that I'm believing a miracle will happen.

Its just that I realize God has been working on this internship even when I had forgotten about it, and (I assumed) the alumni too.

There have been so many instances, when I have asked God for something and thought he forgot about it, and soon after forgot it myself, but God has surprised me saying He remembers.

He remembers even the simplest and smallest thing we asked Him, even the most childish wish we have. When it is in accordance with His will, He will give it to us in His time.

No, don't get me wrong... This reflection isn't to say that always God hears our prayers (of course He does), and that He will give us what we ask him.

I am amazed and fascinated to think that God has been thinking of me all this while. And He has been making a way for me me all this while. For my creator, to have me in His thoughts always, what more could I ask for?

Its not because of me, but Him

I am mentioning some reflections on God, that I had today.

Today, we conducted Children's day celebration in our church. During that time, I too got a prize congratulating me for the university rank I got. My mom heads that committee which decided the prize distribution. I was embarrassed. One thing was, all other people got prizes for winning in some competition or the other, but I got for my studies. Another thing was, since my mom headed that committee, giving the prize to me will lead people to think that my mom is trying to bring me to the forefront in that committee. So I asked my mother, why she gave me that prize and embarrassed me in front of so many people.

She said, "Who gave you the prize to praise YOU? We are glorifying what God has done through you. Am not praising you but GOD! I want people to know that when you spend time for God(I play on the keyboard for my church choir), you lose nothing worthwhile in life( because many thought it will be a distraction for my studies, but what happened was quite the opposite, music helped me relax and help me focus on my studies.) "

That answer taught me so many things. Yes, my mom was right. Though I praised and thanked God for giving me that University rank, I was also sure that it happened because I obeyed God. When he asked me to study, I studied, When he asked me to go to church, I went. So, I assumed I got the university rank because of my obedience and God's grace. I never said, I got the university rank on my own, but I was sure that it was a combination of both our efforts, God's and mine.

But my mom's answer made me think. Yes, God helped me get that rank and I obeyed and all. But God could have chosen ANYONE to do that. That 'anyone' would have also 'obeyed' God and would have got a rank. So far, I was glad that God chose me, now I am grateful that God chose me, when he could have chosen anyone. I look back at those four years of my Under Graduation, and I see what a tough time I've given God. He had to pursue me all the time and make me study, when all I wanted to was to go to sleep all day. He had to help me concentrate in class when my mind was distracted by other things. He had to make a stubborn child play on the keyboard when she wanted to just surf aimlessly. He really had a tough time helping me those days. If he had chosen that 'anyone', perhaps, he wouldn't have had such a tough time.

What made him choose me then? I have no answer. I don't need to know. All that matters for now, is that he could have chosen ANYONE.

I realize that my university rank was not because of me, it was because of Him, Him ONLY. If that applies to my university rank, it applies to every area of my life. Today, someone said I played beautifully on the keyboard. That too, is not because of me. God could have trained ANYONE to play on the keyboard. (I know of many people who would love to play for the choir, and God gave me that opportunity which they didn't get. )

I will say that this was a great lesson in humility. It did come upon me hardly, but it was a lesson I needed. There is nothing we can boast of, nothing we have done or accomplished in life that we can be proud of. As St. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 "If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord."

All praise and glory be to Him ONLY!

I am but an instrument in Your hands...

Sorry for having neglected my blog for the past six months. I went for a retreat yesterday and God put me on the right track again.

When I was praying today, I reflected upon how God uses humans to work for Him. I found a stark difference between how I operated and how God does.

If I were given a task which is very easy for me to do, something I can finish in no time, would I entrust it in the hands of another person? Even if I want to allocate that task to someone else, wouldn't I give it to someone who is very able and has the skills and attitude to it? That is human nature.

But God works differently. The Bible says that 'nothing' is too hard for Him. If God said a word, the entire humanity would bow down before and worship Him. Then, why does He choose humans to spread the Gospel? He knows that we are so frail and prone to go astray. God loves to surprise us by choosing the most unimaginable people and circumstances to work.

This very important task of spreading the Gospel, is entrusted to us. He chooses what the world looks down upon. God says in the Bible, "My ways are not your ways, and My thoughts are not your thoughts". How true!

So why do I tell this? Such a supreme God has chosen us - mere humans to do His work. He could have chosen some talented or influential people to do His work. But He chose us. Isn't this a great privilege?

My prayer today is that God will do in me what pleases Him. I am but an instrument in His hands...

Following Jesus

I have something nice to share with you.

My neighbour's pet dog by the name Tiger, always accompanies me or my dad when we go to the shop nearby. There are two shops near my house, lets say shop1 and shop2. We usually go to shop1. Usually, when Tiger sees us, he will come running behind us and accompany us all the way to the shop. For the past 2 months or so, Tiger was so sure that we'll go to shop1 that he'll run before us to the shop and wait for us over there.

Yesterday, the same thing happened. Tiger saw me come out of my house, and for sometime he came walking behind me. Then he started running to shop1 and overtook me. But it happened that I needed to go to shop2. I went. When he went to shop1, he turned back and saw that I wasn't there. He came running back and stopped at one place for some time. Then he started running back again and finally saw me going to the other shop. He came running behind me and when we came back home together, he was walking behind me.

Though Tiger's behaviour is common, I was thinking about this incident for a long time. Doesn't that happen with us too? We walk behind Jesus for some time when we've met Him newly. Then we think we can go forward on our own, we think we know everything, that we can take care of ourselves. The suddenly we meet with trouble and we turn back to see that we're alone.

But I like what Tiger did. Like him, we too have to stop and reflect on our problem. We have to see where we went wrong. Tiger did not stop there. He started running again, and found me. We too must pray for God's grace and sincerely take measures to find Him. Once we have found Him, we can continue walking behind Him, and let Him be our guide. We will not have to fear anything when He walks before us. Its simply a great feeling to follow Him.
